Control of Chakra
Chakra is the energy source used by every shinobi in the Naruto series. In fact, there are two sources of energy used by them: Stamina, which can also be called physical energy, and Chakra, which could be called spiritual energy. Each ninja style uses a different energy source: pure Taijutsu uses stamina, while ninjutsu and genjutsu use Chakra. Finally, the Chakra has many more uses, can be concentrated on the soles of the feet for better speed or a big jump. There are also several other things that people need to know to fully understand how the techniques are performed. First of all, stamina becomes Chakra for various techniques, but it is not the same for vice versa. Since Chakra is converted to stamina, there can be converted back. It is necessary to perform the hand seal to do the conversion. One of the hardest things about using Chakra is controlling it and use it freely. In this guide, we explain how Chakra should be properly used, and when not.
First of all, everyone starts with only Stamina. Stamina is the energy we use every day to run, breathe, walk, exercise, etc.. Every time we rest, our stamina recovers. Food, rest and exercise are the three most important factors in the use and capacity of Stamina. If a person enough time to sleep, eat well and exercise daily, there will be no problem with his stamina. This is very important because stamina creates Chakra, so if there is no stamina, there will be no Chakra, so the shinobi can not fight. The Taijutsu uses stamina, while ninjutsu and genjutsu use Chakra. Take this example: Naruto has all of his stamina, then this means that it can perform any Tai, Gen, or Nin he knows.
Another example: Naruto is converting his stamina into Chakra, and successfully. This needs a lot of training, and is the part where a large amount of stamina is lost. This is because the user must know the exact amount of Chakra to be used to perform the technique in mind. So if the ninja does not know how much chakra he needs to use, it can not convert correctly. Besides that, the ninja must also be able to focus just enough to convert the Chakra, which is very difficult during a heated battle. This is why ninjas at a disadvantage and beginners are those who spend much of his Stamina and Chakra. Finally, note that this only applies for Nin and Gen Jutsu, because Taijutsu needs absolutely no translation.
Now we have Naruto as a continuation of what was said before. He converted 30% of your stamina into Chakra, which leaves him with 70% of stamina left. Now, to use his Chakra correctly he spends 10% of its total Chakra to do Bunshin no Jutsu, which leaves him with 20% of Chakra left. Now, if he was successful the jutsu he can use 20% of his remaining Chakra to do Henge no Jutsu. But he used it for only 10%, leaving 10% of Chakra left, which he lost.
Now explain how a well trained shinobi uses his Chakra. Sakura always had the best use of Chakra, so it will be used for this example. First, she needs Chakra, then it converts 30% of your stamina into Chakra. This leaves her with 70% of stamina left. Now, since it can properly use her energy, she has it all figured out. Your goal is to create four Bunshin, it performs the seals by hand, and then focuses her Chakra into creating 3 additional Sakuras, a total of 4. In order to confuse ninjas even more, she equally divides its 30% of Chakra Bunshin 10% each, so she uses all of her accumulated Chakra, not wasting any energy.
Now, as an example, we will take Sasuke. Sasuke is about to make a Bunshin no Jutsu. First, like any other technique, he transforms his Stamina into Chakra using a hand seal. Here he is weak, because instead of creating the necessary amount, he created a little more Chakra. Then, he focuses his chakra, and can create Bunshins 4. As you can see, the excess of 10% is left behind, and thus spent. This means that even if the ninja knows how much chakra he needs, such errors can occur, and the user can transform more Chakra, leaving him exhausted.
Now, we have Naruto trying to make a Bunshin no Jutsu as well. He does not have much ability to convert stamina into Chakra, and use his Chakra wisely. As stated before, the amount of Chakra examples is 10%. So, Naruto begins (erroneously) converting 50% of your total Stamina into Chakra. This means that he should create bunshins five in total. But due to his lack of skill he fails and ends up creating just a bunshin. This happened because he could not control his Chakra and force him into a Bunshin correctly. This resulted in a loss of 40% Chakra, which is a large amount, considering that only 50% of his stamina left. However, this is not an uncorrectable mistake, training such as wall climbing and walking in the water may end up with the inability of the Chakra.
For our last example, we have Rock Lee, an elite Taijutsu user. Since Rock Lee has no need to convert stamina into Chakra, he can only perform their techniques without concentrating into conversion. This gives Taijutsu users an advantage, because they do not need to mold your Chakra to attack. This is also a benefit in the fact that a Taijutsu ninja has a complete control over his movements and energy. So he just focuses his stamina in his foot and uses his Konoha Reppu. He does not need to worry about loosing Chakra into conversions.
To finish, the last observation: if a shinobi can not create more Chakra, which means he has 0 Stamina, he or she dies, or at least gets knocked out. This offers a great danger, because ninjas not experienced in Chakra control can easily be killed if they are not careful. This concludes our guide on the Control of Chakra.
